    Dr. Alison is one of the partners here at Weston Woden Animal Hospital. She began her career in mixed animal practice in Gerringong before moving to England. She worked there in small animal practice for four years

    Timothy Jensma
    Veterinarian

    Tim started working with us in early February 2019. He graduated from Sydney University in 2008, his time there included doing some work placements at Taronga Zoo, Melbourne Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary working with lots of amazing exotic and native animals. From there he worked in McKay, Queensland as a new grad and met his wife there too! Luckily both of their jobs allowed them to move back to Tim’s hometown of Canberra where he worked part-time at the RSPCA and gained a lot of experience with wildlife.

    Juliane Dreher
    Veterinarian

    Juliane started working with us 2019. in She was born and raised in Germany and graduated from university in Berlin in 2015. Since then she has mostly worked with small animals in the UK.

    Juliane has a certificate in Exotic Animal Practice and her interests as a vet lie in exotic pets and wildlife, so she would love for you to bring her your exotics! Juliane is a nature lover and she enjoys travelling. She also has a soft spot for Greyhounds.

    Carla Foreman
    Veterinarian

    Carla graduated from Adelaide University in 2016. She has a passion for medicine and high standards of care. Carla has just completed an internal medicine course.
    Carla has a strong interest in reptiles, and has  1 turtle, 1 snake, 1 cat and various lizards.

    Steven Kijlstra
    Veterinarian

    Steven graduated from the University of Queensland in 2014 where he developed a keen interest in small animal medicine. Steven joined us at Weston Woden Animal Hospital in April 2020. He recently has adopted a Koolie puppy of his own. In his spare time is renovating his home, and training his dog.

    Courtney Streeter
    Veterinarian

    Courtney started working with us in 2020. Courtney graduated from James Cook University in 2018. Following graduation, she worked in a mixed animal practice in western NSW. Courtney loves all things oodles and has a strong interest in surgery.

    In her spare time, Courtney can be found hiking, walking her dog, and discovering local cafes and restaurants. Courtney lives with her cavoodle, Ollie, and her domestic medium hair, Barney.

    Jessica Yenson
    Veterinarian

    Jessica started working with us in 2021. Jessica graduated from University of Sydney in 2020. Jessica has a strong interest in dentals and dermatological care.
    In her spare time, Jessica can be found bush walking and hiking. Jessica lives with her domestic short hair named Tama.

    Veterinarian

    Saraih has joined us from Central West NSW where she spent 10 years in mixed practice.  She enjoys all aspects of medicine and caring for her patients and their owners.  When not at work you will find her with her two crazy labradors or riding her sometimes naughty horse Ruben.
